Sounds like although he was brilliant in music as a youngster, he admitted that he is crazy. Did he display mental problems as a child, or was he just painfully shy? Is he considered a little mentally off now?

I read he was epileptic prolly why he's so small now

I recently met a lady who was his kindergarten or first grade teacher (I forget which) and she said he was a very sweet, shy, well-mannered, polite, and intelligent little boy. She said he left an impression on her even at that age and she taught for many years.

Anbody else got sumthin interesting to share?...okay, I'll go first. I believe that there are 2 kinds of ppl in this world. The Observers and the do-ers. The observer just observes and takes in everything like a sponge and learns. The do-er learns from hands on experience, their always involved. I am an observer. I have been this way since I was little. My teachers gave me the exact same description when I was young. I like to observe before I jump right in.

As the owner of a 4 year old daughter, yes... Prince was crazy as a child.

Prince was not a crazy child. No child is crazy. They're just being children. But children do grow up to be crazy adults. Remember, Jeffrey Dahmer and the Uni-bomber had parents and teachers too who thought they was sweet or shy. It depends on the child surroundings and who raises them to really consider if they're going to be crazy or not. You're not born crazy. In some sort of way we're all crazy but to a certain extent. Some more than others. We all have more than one side but it's up to that individual to what side will take over. Besides, Prince, even though he was shy and some times reclusive, did have a some what pretty normal childhood. He had friends he played with. Whether it was basketball or music. He has bunch of brothers and sisters who helped watch and raise him. 2 loving parents(although at times a difference with John L.) and a loving step-father. So, despite being a prodigy of sorts he like most children have they ups and downs growing up and that is normal not crazy unless your like Doogie Howser or something. They say most genuises are crazy in their own way. That could possibly be true but will never know that about Prince. Unless he shoots or kills somebody like O.J. or Phil Spector.
