"...what anybody says, I got the best band in show business."--spoken during the Lovesexy concerts

Do you agree? I definitely do. Nearly 20 years later, I still love that band the most. They were funky, incredibly skilled, and awesomely tight. Moreover, they were fascinating to watch. During the Lovesexy shows, with the crazy costuming and fun in-the-round setting, your eyes were almost on overload--there was somewhere fascinating to look on practically every inch of the stage. And it wasn't just Prince, although he was amazing too--but the band was just as much a part of the overall experience.

I was thinking of that quote today as I was listening to Lovesexy and just wanted to share it with y'all.
