Great songs on Prince's weakest albums

I was listening 2 Rave Un2 the Joy Fantastic last night (which I really enjoy) and I realised that there r GREAT songs on those considered Prince's weakest ef4ts.
4 xample: eye Love U but eye Don't Trust U Anymore, Man O' War and The One.

Anymore songs? hmm

"Dinner with Delores" off C&D.

"Call My Name" off Musicology.

"Walk Don't Walk" off D&P.

The Question of U
Joy In Repetition
Thieves In The Temple
We Can Funk

Only good tracks on that album in my opinion.
Kick the old school joint 4 the true funk soldiers.

1. Sign 'o' the Times
2. 1999
3. Dirty Mind
4. Parade
5. Purple Rain

I think I'm Yours is a killer Track from a very weak debut album.

Prince is a decent album but I consider Why You Wanna Treat Me So Bad to be a classic.

I'm also very Fond Of The Future and Electric Chair.

Graffiti Bridge I think is a good album but Certainly The Question Of U and Joy In Rep are by far the most outstanding tracks, probably because there both from the mid 1980's

Agreed.

Of the 6 albums I own, 3121 is the weakest.

The Word, Love, The Dance, even 3121 are the best of the best on that album.

For Musicology, although stronger than 3121,
Reflection, Musicology, A Million Days and Cinnamon Girl are the best.

yeah, I never really got into that song myself.
Sounds to me that Prince was in one of his "moods" when he wrote it...

There are a lot of great songs on Musicology...

But the progression thru tracks 8-10 is pretty weak, but that's just me.
