Prince's NPGMC Website I just found this information when I was updating my website and check it, it was just updated on May 17, 2007. Maybe Prince will bring it back before he does a full US tour (if he does)....

It's in Prince's interests to retain the domain name, since if he let ownership slip, someone else could buy the domain and start trading using the name and fans could be deceived into thinking they are dealing with an official site. So it is likely they have just recently extended ownership of the name to stop it falling into anyone else's hands and that's why the database has recently been updated.
I really don't think Prince will bring back the npgmc site, there'd be a lot of trouble sorting out old memberships which were meant to be for a lifetime and re-acquiring licenses for old downloads and such-like.

As most of the heavy followers of Prince know, he cares nothing about the "licenses" of the files or anything else. He knows that we will purchase the stuff over again with the new licesnses. **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-

I just thought that it was so interesting that he was still maintaining the site. Also, when you click the npgmc.com link, it leads you to the 3121.com webpage. "A united state of mind will never be divided

Put it this way - there is a lot of merchandise and albums and stuff from the past which will forever feature advertising for the npgmc web-site. Someone could pick up an old album and think that was the official web-site, and just get a dead-link when they visited it. To avoid this, the domain-name is kept and a link forwards you to the newest website - in this case 3121.com. Prince's pre-npgmc website was www.love4oneanother.com, in the same way he still owns that domain name and if you visit it there is a link to 3121.com. But no one thinks that implies he is bringing love4oneanother back.

But also remember, unless Prince is going to open Paisley Park again to unload all of the "love4oneanther.com" and "NPGMC.com" merchandise, he is going to have to come up with something marketable to tie everything together with 3121.com. Okay, everyone here on the org knows about the change from NPGMC to 3121 but say that some dweeb from lower slobovia didn't realize that NPGMC is no more and wants to buy some merchandise, that person will be ass out. Prince has got to use his head and reach out to us. Okay, now 3121.com is the official site, but he will eventually want us to get more music from him so he better apologize about the "NPGMC memberships" or make it right somehow.
