I heard that there is a recording of a song from prince's wembley 'jam of the year'show in 1998.

is that true, does anyone know? because i was there in the restricted side near prince when he walks up on that bridge on his left and i remember seeing someone filming sometimes. was this footage broadcasted?

All his gigs are recorded, pretty much, but we never get to see them. I'm not sure about that particular gig, but I KNOW there is footage from Brixton, a couple of nights after, not legally though! Not all of it is there though, as I heard there was a visit from the police! or similar.

somewhere on prince.org i read that a song from wembley was professionaly recorded but i can't find that info now, its somewhere on this forum.

A video of 7-or-so minute video from Brixton '98 was released on NPGMC (Jam Of The Year - Talkin' Loud & Sayin' Nothin'). Perhaps that's what you're thinking of?

That's correct - it was in the cyberclips room for a longtime. That's the only official clip released from that concert as far as I'm aware.

Or you could be thinking of the 'Come On' video, which features London footage, I think Cafe de Paris footage is featured, the night after Wembley, night before Brixton, from memory.

What was the track on cyber-clips? I been racking my brains and I can see it, but I just can't hear it! Someone put me out of my misery!

As Toejam said above, the Brixton video which was initially released as an npgmc download and then later put into the cyberclips room (a slightly longer version actually) was Jam Of The Year going into Talkin Loud And Sayin' Nothin'.
