People going to a show are not searched and a few minutes of fun is not worth the security risk.

True, they need to start getting the names and ids of the people that get carried away and grab on him, and ban them from his shows. That might sound harsh, but it's better safe than sorry. Or, they should keep them a good distance from him, if they let them on stage to dance; if he asks them to sing on the mic like he does with "play that funky music.." he should still keep a certain distance from them.

Prince has to understand that he is a famous musician and just can't befriend everybody and anybody and feel comfortable with unfamiliar faces so quickly, ...that's just the way it is when you are that famous. I mean it's nice that he likes to enjoy seeing his fans have fun at his shows, but he has to understand that because of who he is, he should always have his guard up regardless..especially with what just happened at "Koko's" with that "kookoo" Humpalina..that could have led to a tragic situation.

I don't know if you saw him in Vegas, but there was not an army of security around him, usually just Trevor. And when he'd walk around the club during the show it was just the club security guys that would escort him. Not exactly the best trained folks to ensure the safety of a world renowned, iconic entertainer like Prince. It just didn't seem safe, especially in the aftershows. If I were him, I'd have a Secret Service guy as my head of security.
