prince in my wedding? as what? my latest divorcee with a front row seat?

I just got married on May 5th. Instead of the bridal march, my wife came out to Arboretum. It was the most beautiful moment of my life. We also played WEST ( I edited out the second part), during the prelude. Our first dance was Betcha By Golly Wow (the Prince version). It was awesome.

My husband and i got married in August 2002. "Soul Sanctuary" played as i walked down the ailse... beautiful song for a special moment.

My wife and I dated for "7" years 1992 - 1999. I told her that if it didn't happen in 1999 it wasn't going to happen.It happened on 11/11/99. Since the first time I heard "Forever in My Life" in 87' I knew this had to be my wedding song. Come to find out that same year JFK jr. used the same song.We started the wedding off with a coctail hour featuring jazz songs by Candy Dulfer , Sheila E., Eddie M. and Prince. Our enterance was to an instrumental version of "Diamonds & Pearls". Since Emancipation was all about love we played "Courtin' Time" , Betcha by Golly Wow" , 'La,La,La,Means I Love U" during the first few main dances. "Gett Off" , "Kiss" and "The Most Beautiful Girl" were all played later in the night. Of course our colors were Purple and Silver.What can I say PRINCE is the soundtrack to my life...
