Okay I've been a Prince fan for more than 20 years and I've met him once. I've always thought he had beautiful eyes but have only recently noticed that the color appears to be light brown, somewhat hazel. Different photos make them look different due to lighting and such. However does anyone know what color his eyes truly are?

I wondered that too when the pic threads come up. Some of the pics he has green eyes. I'm sorry but when I first got into P back in 82 his eyes were brown ... period. And the last I paid any attention they were brown up & through The Hits. After that I don't know when they started turning green but I'm thinking he's had a little "help." But I'm sure someone will tell me they've been hazel green forever.

I've seen some old pics where his eyes look hazel. It's hard to tell in some of them, because of the lighting. But in this photoshoot, the green stands out a bit.




His eyes look light in this pic from his high school days.

Buh-rown. Light brown perhaps but brown nonetheless. Pics might've been doctored to make them look gray or green or whatever. Didn't he even say his eyes were brown in a song?

I remember back in the 80s, Vanity gave some interview where she talked about Prince's green eyes and I was totally confused. I mean, I thought she oughtta know, but they sure don't look green on the 1999 lp.

No I doubt that as I've NEVER seen a person wear color contacts that looked real. Usually those things look fake!

Well I don't know, at first I thought his eyez were brown, hazel! brownish hazel. Until I started reading some old Right On magazines and they were saying that his eyes are green but the pictures sometimes make his eyez look brown, brownish hazel. I guess we'll never know, you can't depend on seeing him in person from what I hear you'll get 2 caught up being in a trance from staring in his eyez u probably won't even remember what color they r.

I just had to chime in on this one. My eyes seem to change colors with my mood. Meaning sometimes I can wake up and my eyes will be brown, somedays they are green and somedays they are hazel. My fathers eyes do the same thing and we here all the cracks about us wearing contacts. So it is very possible that his eyes change with his mood. hope that helped.

yep, mine do the same thing. they are predominanlty green, but sometimes a greenish/gold, or a greenish/blue color....just really depends.

and..i do sometimes wear green colored contacts if I want to control the color for a particular event, etc...and people can never tell the difference..so the comment that they always look fake is untrue. i get comments ALL the time when i wear my color contacts about what a beautiful color my eyes are!

now, if you are trying to change green eyes to deep sea blue, then yea they may look fake...but if you wear a color that only enhances your own color, then they look completely natural.

wearing a green or brown color contact to enhance hazel eyes almost always looks very natural.

Surely they are brown.

I'm scurrrrred to look. . . But, really, just pull out your copy of 1999 on vinyl (everyone has this right?) and look at where the hole is, which is surrounded by his iris on the label.

I've been close enough 2 tell that Prince's eyez r a light color.What color xactly,I'm not sure of.I was like this the whole time

Prince's are a beautiful brown and speak as much volume as his work.
If eyes truly are a mirror of a person's soul, Prince's has to be one of the most beautiful souls I know.

To all of you his eyes are hazel, they change with the lighting, or sun. sometimes looking brown but all the time looking dreamy.
