falloff excited

Of late, I think some people are giving this album a chance again, but it's way more underated than I, (or Theo lol ) would like it to be. Take off "Right the Wrong", since that seems to be the most disliked track, and "I Rock, Therefore I Am"- and you've got a great album.

I get sick of people slagging off Batman. The question is- is this the most underrated of Prince's Albums?

After reading on its seems that people people feel the most underrated is:

Top- Come
2- Vault
3-Batman
4- Exodus
5- Chaos & Disorder

i'm surprised fair enough, come is underrated. But batman has some many amazing tracks. to hear people saying the vault is comforting because there really are some stand outs their too. nice

comfort Come's been getting a lot of this. It's nice to see the love everyone here has for it. I feel bad for it cuz it doesn't work too hard to stand out like other albums have in the past. It doesn't scream "hey everybody look at me". It seems like it needs a little TLC and someone to listen to what it has to say. I was reading the lyrics last night and it still holds so much mystery that I'm never able to stay away for too long.

I've seen the Future and it will be?

Batman the album has a certain atmosphere, very catchy songs, Has any 1 heard the Scandalous Sex Suite?, pretty good stuff Sir Nelson.
Overall Batman, very under rated. Pity about the cover though? "Oh, Bats!"

I don't know if the Exodus is underrated as much as a lot of people don't know it EXIST.

I point my fingers to:

N.E.W.S.
Black Album

Rainbow Children receives more respect than these two albums.

I don't think much attention was paid 2 it by the fans when it first came out.
1) because of the name change (that's why Come suffered a bit)
2) Prince (correction, prince ) didn't promote it as much as he should have, but he was already preoccupied by the Emancipation project when it was finally released.

It's certainly not underrated by the people here. Nearly everyone I've talked to loves it (why else would they recommend it to me?).
I'm not quite sure if getting it early in my "collecting of albums" was quite the best move. I might have taken to it faster if I was a little more prepared for what it had to offer... regardless, it's still my favorite of the 6 albums I own, even if it took a while.
