Goldnigga vs Exodus I'm about to finally be able to get a copy of each of these albums and I just wanted to know does the majority of orgers here think they're any good? If so which one is best? If not are they even worth getting?
Thanks. "Why'd I waste my kisses on you baby?" R.I.P. Prince You've finally found your way back home. Well Done.

Exodus is better overall but you gotta have Goldnigga for Johnny.

Exodus, by far, is the better album. After all it doesn't have Tony M. on it.
On the other hand, it's got too many segues, and yeah, they're funny the first few times, but after a decade, not so much. "Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind." -Dr. Seuss

Also Gold Experience still has all its intro stuff on it too. "Why'd I waste my kisses on you baby?" R.I.P. Prince You've finally found your way back home. Well Done.

Goldnigga IMO...aside from Tony (who doesn't ruin every song), that's a funky ass album, and the 70's concept is consistent [which adds 2 a more pleasureable experiance 2 me]
Exodus is nice, but i'm brand new 2 it (just got it last week) where's jess555ja? she'll tell u : [Edited 5/14/07 12:48pm]

Both are nice in their own right. Hard to compare though, quite different.
GoldNigga is the only cd where being Tony M. works. It fits in the style. The whole concept is nicely done and it really is an album. Prince sounds loose and not uptight. It really sounds they had fun making it. Therefore alone it's worth to own it. I will sound a bit outdated though. Exodus is more a funk and fun musicianship album. Musically I think it better. Some segues are hilarious (italian restaurant on the right speaker) ansd some can't be bothered. The Exodus song is my highlight. Cherry Cherry is too sweet for my teeth.
