I think it's just one more sexy, unique thing that he does that makes him who he is. There are many things about him that way, that's why he is so awesome!!!!!

Playing some instruments can have its effects on how you hold your hands. As an instrumentalist I know this. Playing the flute can change the shape of your fingers as well as their relaxed positioning.

In Fred Astaire's biography "Steps in Time", it was explained that Fred Astaire bent his middle and ring fingers down whenever he was in public, as he felt self conscious about their length..he felt they were too long, so he tried to make them appear shorter. Perhaps Prince feels the same

after playing guitar and horns for thirty years I can attest, it is a safe bet that his hands are showing the effects of time and playing numerous instruments and from the amount of playing he does.

I never really noticed the hand thing. Ahh..kinda lyin' on that. I notice his hands, but for a few very naughty reasons. He's got long, graceful hands of a musician. Long...thin....O_o *drooling* oh God yes!!! My guess is that his elongated playing of the guitar has made his hands go that way. They're a fine pair they are....

My left had goes in a similar shape when its relaxed, and i play guitar and piano, and most of my guitar playing friends fingers go into strange shapes 2,
its just somethin 2 do with playin instruments i guess

That's a feminine hand pose, Prince also extends his little pinky the way women do but I think it's just natural with him!
