New CD will be short If he's giving it away with concert tix (and 31.21 pounds 'aint that much) then my guess is the new CD will be a short, 11 track deal like the last two. Maybe 45 mins or so. And here I was hoping for a 2 CD opus. Maybe next time. Can't have it all, can I? | |

I agree. I believe it will be a small/intimate album not too dissimilar from One Nite Alone (piano) or The Truth. Actually, it wouldn't surprise me if the running time was 31mins 21secs  .

You were seriously hoping for a 2-CD opus? That would be awesome, but nothing that is going on in Prince's career lately hints at a double-album. |

It could be a 'full' album, Musicology was given away at concerts with minimal packaging, that's where he could save the money on this one too. But yeah, no 2 CD opus. | |

Well, it seems that the album is going to be sent to the address of those going to the concerts, rather than being given to them on entry to the arena.
So, who knows what'll be sent. Yeah, it could be a one disc, 30min effort, or it could be more. Bear in mind that ONA Live was sent to people and that was three CDs in a (damaged, for most people) box-set. So there's no telling at this stage just what the album will consist of. If not a double-CD, I'm hoping that it'll at least be a 78min tour-de-force of eclectic musical mayhem. | |
