Brought my "Interactive" CD-Rom 2day. But everytime I start the program, the system broke down. Anybody got the same problem? Windows ME is installed on my PC. Doesn't it run on a new computer? Is the software from 1994 to old? Any help?

Is it a Windows or a DOS program? If it's a DOS program, you'll most likely can't really run it on Windows 2000 because you cannot boot up your computer in MS-DOS mode. Get an old system floppy from somewhere and boot up the system with that. Old programs just usually don't run with Win 2000. That's just the deal, I'll stick with 98SE.

Don't forget to reset your screen to 640x480 (the graphics are a bit pixelated, but otherwise you'll never get into the D&P vault).

I have an original copy of this Disc too, but it's for Macintosh ONLY.
Did someone burn it for you? This might be the case in your instance. Your machine should not crash because of this though. You would just get the usual non-compliance message...

The IT guys in my office say that Windows ME has a lot of problems in general-my sister's WinME crashed a few weeks ago just using Word-- so it may be a good idea to use Win98 like someone above suggested.
