He wrote "Nothing Compares 2 U". Thats HIS song. LOL

How can he cover it if he wrote it????

thats what the guy's saying, that it's unbelievable that sky showbiz wrote something so wrong. i.e. "i can't believe i just read this". duh

As bad as that is, I've heard people say he's covered Kiss by Tom Jones.

I think everyone who reads this should go to the site and use their "feedback" link at the bottom to point out to them what goofs they are

Oh my lord!!!! This reminds me of an interview with Britney Spears, where she says her 2 favorite songs are Kiss by Prince, and Nothing Compares to You by Sinead O'Connor. When the interviewer told her that Prince wrote that one too, Britney said, "Really? I didn't know that! I just love that guy!"

This really isn't a big deal... Yeah, it was incorrect, but the song was released so long ago it's essentially in the dark ages for today's media - the fact Prince never had a hit with it or a single released for it doesn't help matters.

It happens... if someone bothers to write them they should remember to be respectful. I've seen people on this forum think Prince wrote "A Case Of You", for example...

He wasn't having any of it. I had the Parade song book at hand and showed him the writing credit and then he tried to tell me it was because Prince had bought the rights.
