So, for all the people who went to Koko... was there not ANY talk of a new album? You'd think that SOMEONE there would have heard SOMETHING.. even if just a tiny piece of gossip...

Just guessing, but the fact that nobody seems to know much tends to hint that this new CD will be another independent effort that at the moment hasn't been heard outside of Paisley Park.
From Prince's comments at the press conference; 'It's direct marketing. I don't have to be in the speculative business of the record industry' definitely suggests this.

Maybe Prince pasted his vocals onto the tracks from Tamar's "Milk And Honey" and retitled it "Milk'n Money".

Nothing was mentioned at the Koko about the new album, and Prince is
doing it all himself (no record company involved), so don't expect anyone
to know anything concrete about it until the last minute.
