The Ryde Dyvine?

Does anyone know which album this originally appeared on? I don't have it. I have The Work version, but that's not the "official" one.

Thanks!

It's never been officially released on an album..

The only 'official' release was the performance by The Crayons on The Ryde Dyvine TV Broadcast in December 1992.

It's never been released on an album, but it WAS officially released as the
b-side to the MPLS cd single. However, this single is very hard to come by
these days, though it does pop up on ebay from time to time (expect to pay
through the nose for it though)

Minneapolis - MPLS cd single, NPG records, made in canada

1. MPLS (4:28)
2. MPLS 12 Inch Mix (7:00)
3. The Ryde Dyvine (4:17)

I held this CD single in my hands at Paisley Park in 2001, and was told, sorry, we're not selling it!

Thanks so much. I remember the version from the television special. I heard it in the All Mixed Up mix, so I figured it had been officially released at some point. Dag, well if it goes for anything like that Gold Nigga CD does when it appears on eBay, I'll never own it. sad

Yeah, I'd say it's as rare, if not rarer, than the Goldnigga CD. In fact it dates
from exactly the same time. There were 3 CD singles made at the same time
as the Goldnigga album...

New Power Generation - 2gether
Minneapolis - MPLS
Mayte - If Eye Love U 2night

All 3 CD singles contain tracks and/or versions of tracks not available
elsewhere...

New Power Generation - 2gether
1. Album Mix (5:34)
2. 12 Inch Mix (6:52)
3. Interview (4:21)
4. Enlightenment (5:18)
5. Jeep Mix (5:34)
6. Instrumental (5:39)

Minneapolis - MPLS
1. MPLS (4:28)
2. MPLS 12 Inch Mix (7:00)
3. The Ryde Dyvine (4:17)

Mayte - If Eye Love U 2night
1. If Eye Love U 2night (4:19)
2. However Much U Want (original version) (3:33)
3. If Eye Love U 2night (Spanish Version) (4:19)

That's a drag. I followed a recent sale of the CD-S on Ebay, and it sold for $170. eek
