Best of You Studio Version??

Howard Stern played a clip of a studio version of Prince's cover of "Best Of You". Any chance this version will show up as a B-side? The studio version f'ing rocks!

I'm not sure the Howard Stern broadcast was a studio version. It was certainly different, but VERY similar to the version performed at the Superbowl. I suspect it was just a recording from a rehearsal or something. Plus you don't hear any parts that weren't performed at the Superbowl anyway, so I don't see how you can say it "rocked" any more or less...

It would be nice to hear it on the new album, but not at the expense of a new/original track.

I'm all for an offical release of the combo- Watchtower/Best of You biggrin
I think he did a great job on it, and to be honest am tired of hearing it only with the H.S. parts cut out, and live from the SB. Full studio version would be nice. biggrin
