Nude Tour 1990 at Birmingham NEC. Same night as England played Cameroon in World Cup Quarter Final. I saw some people crowded round a TV watching football instead of Prince. I love my football, but come on, how can you're attention B taken away from the greatest live artist of all time

Rotterdam August 17th 1986.
It blow me away seeing Prince for the 1st time. The show began with a couple of minutes behind closed curtains and I really believed that some fake Prince would appear to do some imitation act! Then the curtains opened and there he was... magical!!! Peace, TheKid Life's what u make it, stop whining baby Love comes 2 those who care... Prince - A Place In Heaven

eye saw the light in Rotterdam on the 17th of August 1988: Lovesexy Tour.
that show was sooo uplifting: - outstanding stage design; - rollercoaster of songs. eye remember everyone chanting "love is God & God is love". Eye am not religious or anything but it was great 2 feel that spiritual vibe!

April 2, 1993, the Fox Theatre in Detroit- Act 1
He played for nearly 4 hours it seemed like. And he rubbed this huge gold statue's breasts. Priceless! I was only 17 and had to get scalper tickets to the show. I was like 8th in line at Harmony House and the girl in front of me got the last tickets. Bitch! They sold out in 5 minutes. Fanaticism in Detroit was at an all-time high with radio contests and general buzz around the city. Lisa Lisa, my favorite local DJ played 4 straight hours of Prince the night before. The whole thing blew my mind. I'm at 500 posts!

My 1st and only prince concert was in gothenburg, sweden in 1993. I wasn't allowed/invited to his concert when he was in Australia, probably cause my brother didn't want to have to take his 12 year old sister.

It was so amazing. The first 3 songs I stood there paralysed and couldn't believe that this is really Prince! This was far the best concert in my life. And believe me, I've seen a lot! "Don't hate me 'cuz I'm fabulous!"

January 1983. Greenville South Carolina. Prince , the Time and Vanity 6. I had seen several concerts prior to this one. Graham Central Station, Commodores, Hall & Oates, Chaka Khan, Isley Brothers, Parliament Funkadelics, Cameo, sly and the Family Stone. Rick James, Zapp, the Jacksons etc.
None of these concerts prepared me for Prince and the 1999 tour. I was blown away, first time I had been to a concert with Blacks and Whites in the same arena, jamning together and digging the same music. Boy did they Jam, I had a smile on my face for the next 3 years. How you gonna get my back when you fronting.

Early 1985 I think..either that or late 1984...anyway, Purple Rain tour...Performance of Purple Rain was magical...that was over 15 years ago...saw him in ATL earlier this year...glad I didn't see the same show. Some folks need to consider what I said. "Love is God, God is love
Girls and boys love God above!" - SheSaidLoveMe

1982 during the D&P tour of Australia. I'd been following Prince for years and it was such a buzz to finally see him live in concert. Unfortunatly that has been the one and only time as he hasn't returned to Australia since.

Wow i'm on a roll here! i went to that too (i wasn't 10 though! i hope your ears were covered for Sexy MF!)),a blazing hot day,i remember the soundcheck he did before the gates opened.A bit of thunder, live 4 love and 40,000 impatient people roaring their approval.Do you remember the video screen messages? 'wendy & lisa come home' sticks in my mind most (why don't they?).I couldn't agree more though it was Brilliant! My second favourite performance only behind Brixton 98. It was Purple Rain. Even though I was just a child well my mom put Purple spray in my hair and I can remember a fantastic feeling when Prince was on stage. I think I wet my pants actually because I remember feeling strange and kinda excited down there. Prince was from that day on my Hero. My Honey and I used to go to record stores and kiss the records and arrange them so he'd be in the front and also whenever he was on t.v. I would make everybody watch and I would also kiss the t.v.

My first time ever was on Wednesday October 5th 1988- LoveSexy World Tour @ Maple Leaf Gardens here in Toronto. Unfortunately, my mother would not let me go to the Purple Rain concert years before because she though that I was too young .
*Mental note to self: Remind me to thank my mother again for missing that one.

Thank God you are seeing THIS concert as opposed to the Medley tours. My first time was in 97 at Hollywood Bowl during Jam of The Year. Second time was in Vegas for Hit & Run. Third time was at Kodak Theater in April here in LA for One Night Alone. Damn, ONA made the other 2 tours look like an imposter put them on. Prince tore it up left right and center that night.
I'm excited for you Coolaid! 2010: Healing the Wounds of the Past.... http://prince.org/msg/8/325740
