I bought Vol 1 & 2 back in the mid nineties and paid $125 a piece for each. Both came in gold embossed tins, and the discs were gold as well. Probably some of the nicest packaging I've seen for bootlegs.
The sound quality is really good, but it sounds like they were taken from the LPs.

no, not bootleg. good pictures and the sound is good. bootlegs can have both. nothing about a bootleg refers to its sound quality or the quality of its packaging. Sabotage and Thunderball, to name just a couple of old bootleg companies, traditionally had great packaging and sound quality. this message brought to you by logic.

[snip --- no asking where to get bootlegs ] I'd like to get my hands on SaTim's version, though. (According to DB, it's better. ) . [Edited 5/18/07 13:10pm] The check. The string he dropped. The Mona Lisa. The musical notes taken out of a hat. The glass. The toy shotgun painting. The things he found. Therefore, everything seen–every object, that is, plus the process of looking at it–is a Duchamp.

Ladybird puts out some very good quality stuff, fixing glitches and such that previous bootleg outfits didn't do.
But people, don't get this site into trouble by asking for or offering where you picked up unauthorized merchandise. Prince's camp comes down like an elephant with a college degree.
