It looks like he's wearing less make-up on this pic, and he definitely looks his age imo, especially close-up. Not bad, just older than his usual heavily made-up appearance.

He's looking more like his dad.

Prince is human too! biggrin

I heard that he might be suffering from some form of arthritis. If this is true it would account for his strained look, change in the way he moves and performes on stage, shorter shows, and the time he spaces from one show to another. He does not work day in and day out on stage anymore. If this is true,I hope he thinks of himself first of all,his fans will love him whatever he has to do.even if he sat on a stool and perform,we would still appreciate his genius.

hmmm
y'all know what I am thinking right?
There maybe some truth to the hip/arthritis story. He DID sit on a stool for part of the concert... the acoustic set. It was all good though, because I thoroughly enjoyed that intimate feel that was achieved with the acoustic set... but maybe there were other reasons to include it in the show.

]We can just watch and see.I know it took me two years to accept that my life was going to change dramatically.I was the same age as he is now when my arthritis was diagnosed,by not accepting and doing what I needed to then made it harder for the treatments and surgeries(hip).

That is not true.I have had it since I was 47.Started with hip and knees.Took 10 years to get to my hands.Think about the jumping and dancing he has done all these years. I'am sure that he,like me has had some aggrevations and injuries to those area over the years.

It's recommended after the age of 50, one get a baseline colonoscopy. Prince will be due next year.
Outward appearance doesn't reflect the body's health. You can be skinny and have arteriosclerosis.
Genetics is a significant factor, parents' health, age of death, etc.

Those photos where Prince doesn't look good, I rationalized fatigue and lack of sleep as there was alot going on in his career, and traveling is wearing. When young, it's easy to bounce back and still look good. Not so easy in our age group.

people are living longer then ever.
in the begining of the 20th century average lifetime was 50something,now average lifetime is 75 or 76 years old.
there are many new science discoveries ,in 20th century man flied for the first time i have a high hopes that men kind will beat death in not szo distant future.
maybe people were not meant to die.
we get old because of gravitation, and
antibodies in our bodies.
prince is not old,he don't dance much these days maybe because of some knee problems or maybe because he is more intersted in playing guitar than dancing.
i bet prince feels like 2osomething.
when i listen to his guitar playing i hear passion and agression and youth.
