More dates

So he's doing 21 dates in total, right? So there will be 14 more dates announced in the near future?

I'm a little gutted, i managed to get one ticket in a decent seat when i realised booking in pairs wasn't going to happen, but i really want my boyfriend to see him live too. When do you think the next set of dates will be announced?

the 21 dates will include shows at other venues. Could Prince really sell 480,000 tickets in London. I mean, can ANYONE? Michael Jackson did about that in 88 at Wembley, but that was an exceptional circumstance (and I'm not sure all those Wembley shows sold out).

i can't decide you see whether to pay through the nose on ebay to get 2 good tickets for another night for me and my boyfriend or wait an see whether he adds mores dates at the millenium dome, anywhere i could make it to in, london really. I'm coming from Manchester too funkyhead so i wouldn't be able to drop eveything and go last minute if every date he releases from now on is a club gig announced last minute like tonights koko club.

what do you guys think? wait it out or pay an extortionate amount on ebay?

Only a very small percentage of tickets went on sale this morning

Try again at 9.00am tomorrow.

it seems all the good tickets went this morning though ie all floor seating and lower tier. I'll try tomorrow, i am a little picky though i do refuse to be at the back. i'd rather not go at all.

i don't get that at all Gav, what's the point of having pass words etc to get a days heads up then release the best seats tomorrow. I'm not so bothered for me, seen him 30+ times, been to aftershows etc i'm more bothered that the best seats are just on open sale. Any ideas as to why this has happened?.

Isn't floor seating for the VIP "Get On The Boat" package thing?

well after trying my best this morning to get 2 pairs of tickets for seperate dates (ticketmaster was only coming up with the upper tier) i've just gone back on to the website and tried again and managed to get 2 pairs of decent tickets for fri 3rd and sat 4th. i'll still try and get floor seated tomorrow at nine but i'm glad i've got some anyway, if i vget more tomorrow i can just sell these on ebay.

i wonder why the seats i've got now weren't coming up this morning.
strange.

Personally I think we're all getting too old to be worried about sitting closer to the stage and hero-worship shit like that anyway. I'll be glad to attend any of the shows, I don't care where I'm sitting (or standing, let's be honest).

The only problem is that with 150 songs in their stash, the setlist is bound to vary a lot from night to night. That's great for the people who have the time and money to attend every show, but what if the one night I get tickets for is the night with the 2-hour Wedding Feast medley or something? What then eh!? smile

very true on the last comment. to be honest though ikts not really so i can sit close to prince that i want good seats i just think it make for a better experience generally, i've been to a lot of concerts and the times when i've been further back i've just not enjoyed it as much i think when i'm back there i'd rather just watch it on telly.
