was big into Prince back in the 80's, got turned off by AWTIAD and Parade, stopped listening to Prince.
Then got back into Prince in 2004, I had to go see his concert when he came to Detroit. (I always knew no matter what, he was the BEST live!) 3
then found the Org.
Thru talking to people on the org and WATCHING OLD VIDEOS ON HQ!!! (hint, hint, are YOU listening??) I realize all the great stuff I missed in those years (late 80's/90's)
Now I am trying to collect and take in all I have missed. (it is a lot, hard to find, but a lot of fun to look for old Prince stuff!

And actually I first knew him for his pop music in the 80's (I thought 1999, I Would Die 4 U & Baby I'm A Star were pop songs... I'm not so sure anymore).
Anyway, pop is always my fav. genre of music= Pop

And the last part can actually come from two different sources. He's royalty in the fact that he's one of the best known musicians and people him and at times, he'll act snobbish like royalty.
But also he's royalty just because his name is Prince.
