Here's a question. I was on Youtube this morning and I ran across some Prince videos including one I had never seen before, "Why You Wanna Treat Me So Bad?" I also saw "Uptown," "Gett Off," "Dirtymind," some live performances from the Lovesexy tour, his collabo with Beyonce, and Sexuality. If I'm not mistaken it was discussed on this website that he had all his videos pulled from Youtube. To confirm this I tried to view others like "Let's Go Crazy," and "When Doves Cry," but they weren't there. What's the logic behind this?

possibilities:

1. prince's goon squad doesn't have the time to take down all the people posting all his videos all the time. they probably just haven't had the chance to put the lockdown on these clips yet.

2. it depends on who posted the video. if a WB/viacom entity posted the videos on youtube, then prince can't do a thing about it. that's why you see those artist pages on VH-1.com and MTV.com with all the prince videos. they have every right to do so.
