Interactive vs. Endorphin Machine What do you think? Apparently I decided one day to listen to my Chrystal Ball cd because I haven't listen to it in awhile. And reading the liner notes once again I've seem to forgot that it said Interactive was originally scheduled to be on "Gold" cd but was replaced with Endorphinmachine. So do you think this was a good move or bad one? Me personally, I always say your first hunch is always the best one and if you second guess yourself you make the wrong decision. But not in this case. Prince did good and I love the funky rockfested tune. It stays on "Gold" and Intertactive stays on "CB". Not that Interactive is bad but Endorphin's just better to me. What you think? Peace and be wild!

I heard "Interactive" once and that was all I needed.
Ugh... don't like that song at all. Not that I'm all "buddy-buddy" with Endorphinmachine, though. I think it gets too much adrenaline pumping at times... it's powerful... but it fits in perfeclty with the other TGE tracks. Especially with Shh as the song that follows it... the two songs balance each other out really well. had 2 run away... pride was 2 strong. It started raining, baby, the birds were gone

'Interactive'. The mega-hit single of 1993/4 that never was.
To be fair, Endorphinmachine coulda also held that title, but I think Interactive has 'hit' written all over it, it's so punchy, instant, catchy, and just a cracking song. Imagine it as the follow-up to MBGITW, rather than 'Letitgo', as it seemed to people at the time.

Both are great, but suffer from the same problem. Too much keyboards!

But Endorphinmachine is a better song. Christian Zombie Vampires

Endorphinemachine "Thinking like the Keys on Prince's piano, we'll be just fine"

I love them both but my vote's for Interactive. That song brought me in just from hearing 30 seconds of it back in 93. When I heard the whole thing, I was blown away. I'm with NouveauDance that this was indeed the mega hit that wasn't. Hell there were a few mega hits on Gold that weren't but that's another thread. Endorphinemachine is kickass too but Interactive gets me going. Plus the original Endorphinemachine is super kickass. I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that
