Does anybody have memories of tours before Purple Rain? Who has seen Prince prior to the Purple Rain tour and what was it like at the shows? | |

Damm I was at all those shows too!, from what I know he's always been quiet, rather shy Triple Threat with Rick James the birtday show at COBO and the one at MASONIC TEMPLE the night before! and the one he did at The old GRAND QUARTERS on the blvd in 80-81'. before Masonic... one cool thing I remember from backstage at the Purple Rain Tour in Detroit was, he did the sound check in the Dirty Mind look with the hair, leg warmers, and g-string... | |
