So, here in Los Angeles, we have this cheesy "news" on Channel 13 at 11:00 pm. I really don't watch it other than to see what the weathergirl, Maria, is wearing because I like her style.

Anyway, each night they have an "email question of the night" where they ask viewers to share their opinions about a story. Today, they were reporting on the Coachella music festival and asked people to write about "What is the best and worst concert you've ever been to?" So, you know I had to immediately email the following:

"It's simple- the best concert I have ever been to is Prince! I saw him most recently at his club in Vegas but he rocked at the Staples Center in 2004, plus the 10 times I saw him previously. He is full of energy every time I see him and one heck of a musician- he could do "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star" and make it
sound fabulous!"

The newscaster (Lauren) who was reading it was smiling as she read it and her co-host, this guy named Rick totally agreed and said Prince was one of his favorite acts besides Elton John. He had already mentioned Prince because he said he had seen women remove articles of clothing at Prince concerts- twice!

He also said he figured "that fan probably has purple all over their room". Sorry, Rick, my bedroom has never been purple- currently I am working with a rust and goldenrod scheme.

Woo-hoo, I've been on TV (sort of)

You go, beautifulone7! I've had some emails read on tv like that (though unfortunately not about Prince) and it is pretty cool to hear your name or whatever. I'm glad you got a chance to put in a good word for our man and that the anchors seemed to agree!
