The song 3121- a metaphor for the life of a Prince "fan"? This couldn't have been Prince's intention, but the song makes an interesting point.
Club 3121 could very well be a metaphor for the party only Prince "fans" have the invitiation for. Drink champagne from a glass with chocolate handles An unlikely/unusual combination... like Prince's resume of music and various experiences they offer. We're gonna party like there ain't gonna be another one Prince's music has that tendancy, an everlasting effect of happiness and wanting to  , and when it grabs u, u want to party like there's no tomorrow.
And of course... Don't you wanna come, 3121, it's gonna be so much fun, 3121, that's where the party b, 3121, you can come if you want, but you can never leave That pretty much sums everything up. I doubt Prince had his millions of closest friends in mind when he wrote this track... but its an interesting prospect. [Edited 4/28/07 12:45pm] had 2 run away... pride was 2 strong.
