At first, while you're seeing him walk inside the theatre, most of the time, he looked like he was trying to look aloof and fragile and shit. Can I just say how hot I think this picture is! I always thought so..I remember this being on the back of the GB VHS cover. It looks so hot...like you can just imagine what he is whispering in her ear.

I agree, maybe it was a very emotional time for him.
Maybe he had wanted his Dad to see him then.
Maybe he felt like he was being too exposed somehow....
Although we all know there are 2 sides to Prince and maybe that's the paradox of his character which is even hard for him to deal with.
One side is an extrovert, the other a shy, introverted person, who is very private.
I think it's very clear that he is sad here.
And I really don't think that he was trying to be a snob when he walked in.
I am sometimes taken for being a snob when people meet me for the first time, when in reality, I am just shy, introverted and quite melancholic most of the time.
I can relate to that very much.
