he did so many career highlight performances on that tour, especially in europe and asia. stuff that made your jaw drop down to if not through the floor and then, when he finally releases a live album this is all we got. it's a nice set don't get me wrong but it showcases about 20% of what the tour was all about by the way it was halfway through. the aftershow disc could have done without the guests and the dull vamp stuff and would have been better off with blistering versions of cuts like days of wild, calhoun sq, beautiful strange, something in the water etc. Well I was trying not to be "negative" but my overriding feeling with it was "it could have been sooo much better" I'm not a fan of a live compilation, I'd rather have a complete single show, warts and all. I don't like the minor overdubs and editing (Xenophobia cuts between the Indianapolis and Portland show) Having said that, I'm playing it again in the background and it's sounding pretty good [Edited 4/28/07 15:19pm]

The Sabotage releases were exceptionally great as well, just beautiful. Prince couldn't compete!

yes and no. there much better live bootlegs. i love the livesexy/dortmund concert very much. but one nite alone is the only official live recording, the set list is just o.k. and the sound is "too good", but there are some fine versions. more I like the bonus after show cd with a great version of "joy in repetition"! all is full of love
