 I remember playing the backwards message for my cousin once and she flipped out on me. "OMG, what IS that?" I was like, "Duh, it's gospel."  It really scared her, why I don't know. I think it sounds pretty cool myself. When I had the Purple Rain on vinyl, I used to put my record player inbetween speeds, and turn the record backwards so I could purposely hear the message.
