Wherein they think it strange that ye run not with [them] to the same excess of riot, speaking evil of [you]???
You'd think for such a popular book the author would have bothered to learn proper grammar and sentence structure, wouldn't you! I haven't got a clue what this is trying to say. I know u people worthless scum give no heart but wrath of insults a brain-driven wave of destruction your bite is worse than your vocabulary. Shame on you all of you. Go feed your pigs coward.

Like I said on another thread, could Prince have been in London for Gwen Stefani's wedding?
I don't believe the restaurant story for a second, but he could have been at the wedding, if he was invited.

Oh Yeah! I love it when the fanclub rams organised religion down my throat.
Hey NPGMC - I joined so that I can get music, tickets, etc. If I want religion I'll ask you. This JW stuff is really becoming a problem. P.S. Feel free to disagree. This is just my own view.

S'fair enough! Good response, it's just a shame he didn't just say it instead of quoting scripture. Prince has always had that philosophy.

1 Peter 4:4 Because YOU do not continue running with them in this course to the same low sink of debauchery, they are puzzled and go on speaking abusively of YOU. Peace Melody said: Hey thanks, Katt...so much easier to understand from a modern English translation...
You Go Prince!..:wOOt: So...how's everybody doing?

Of course, your former friends are very surprised when you no longer join them in the wicked things they do, and they say evil things about you.
This interpretation is the NLT version. I must profess my ignorance and say I don't know what NLT stands for. Just somewhere in the middle,
Not too good and not too bad.

Well, at least he didn't change it to 2s & Us.

from...that's why P uses a modern translation. People back in the 17th century talked like that. That was a 1611 C.E.translation. The person who complained about the religious nature of Prince's answer...U trying to restrain the man's right to answer the media the way he sees fit? Why? So...how's everybody doing?

Their answer works for me. cryptic as usual, but it works.
One question: Why do you Brits read the tabloids anyway? It seems like the Sun is one of the main newspapers over there. Sure we Americans have the National Inquirer, the Globe, etc--but aside from the dipshit New Yorkers who read the NY Post--no one takes tabloids seriously here. When i read "Boy Caught in Refrigerator, Eats Own Foot to Stay Alive", i close the newspaper.

Ooh! Sweeping generalisation there mrchristian. We don't all read the tabloids. I don't read any newspaper. Get all my news from the BBC (either online or TV) and Sky News TV channel.
It seems like the Sun is one of the main newspapers over there. It is true that The Sun is one of the main newspapers (sales wise) over here. Although the term newspaper is a loose one. Comic book is more appropriate. Why people buy this I don't know, they really do appeal to the lowest common denominator and make the paper very cheap (sometimes as litle as 10p). Lots of blokes buy it for the football (soccer) and other sports coverage (or so they say) Just somewhere in the middle,

These modern day scribes do the same thing to everybody righteous. They trying to sell papers. They just spit on Bigs grave last week by coincedence on the same day that Pac was killed. Big and Pac werent saved, they were just black with untold potential. They say money don't buy you luv. But it'll help w/ the search.

1 Peter 4:1-8
Living for God (1)Therefore, since Christ suffered in his body, arm yourselves also with the same attitude, becaue he who has suffered in his body is done with sin. (2)As a result, he does not live the rest of this earthly life for evil human desires, but rather for the will of God. (3)For you have spent enough time in the past doing what pagans choose to do--living in debauchery, lust, drunkenness, orgies, carousing and destestable idoltary. (4)They think it strange that you do not plunge with them into the same flood of dissipation, and they heap abuse on you. (5)But they will have to give account to him who is ready to judge the living and the dead. (6)For this is the reason the gospel was preached even to those who are now dead, so that they might be judged according to God in regard to the spirit. (7)The end of all things is near. Therefore be clear minded and self-controlled so that you can pray. (8)Above all, love each other deeply, becaue love covers a multitude of sins. I thought maybe it would be more deducible with more of the Scripture besides just 1 Peter 4:4.

oh jesus, lighten up Prince!
I looked up the translation in the New Common Sense Version, it means: Gee, I'm flattered that people still think I exist. [This message was edited Wed Sep 18 9:48:35 PDT 2002 by pald1]

So here's a better question: like the thread we're on-- why do people believe the crap they print?? I know this is a semi-rhetorical question, but i just don't get it. But hey, someone over here had to have voted for the retard-Bush Jr, so i guess we're in the same boat. The man is about as smart as moldy bread. I cringe everytime i hear him speak. Glad i could get that off my chest. (edit--oops silly me, i was being mean to dumb people again) [This message was edited Wed Sep 18 11:13:55 PDT 2002 by mrchristian] [This message was edited Wed Sep 18 13:56:28 PDT 2002 by mrchristian]
