I just can't get enough of this song!! I know someone just put up a thread about how great the "B" sides are, and I'm ashamed to say that I've had it for quite a while and never took the time to really listen to "Girl"

Excellent, the 12" b-side is better than the shorter version they put out on the hits/b-sides set.

Just a great song.Period.

Ahh the golden age of B-sides! Absolutely great song that defined his quirky experimental side at the time. Been a while since he's been that creative in the studio I think. These sorts of B-sides differentiated him from the Jacksons of the world, uncommerical, radical and a real pioneer. But it has to be the 12" version, I can't listen to the b-sides one knowing that it's only half there!
