Yamaha has a plug in card 4 the Motif series that is the DX7.

The Motif was used on '3121'.

OH... and we all forgot about the Nord.

Had a Nord 3 and hardly ever played it. I gave it away.

yep, plus i remember seeing the DX7 on tour with him
not sure if i ever saw him use it live
but have heard it in his songs, especially '83-'85

The ORIGINAL Nord Lead was the fattest and the best.
