In anticipation of Prince's team presenting our man with more head and shoulder shots with crap graphics can someone on here PLEASE create an album cover in the hope that P might see it and sack his creative team!!. To get a bit of cohesion let's all assume it'll be a serious , socially aware album with the usual mix of styles. Let's call the album 'Planet Earth' . Go now children and create....
By the way i wouldn't have a clue on how to do this BUT i really think the recent face shot in Black and white where he looks totally natural would be a classic cover. Yes i know it's a face shot BUT what an impact.

I've been looking forward to an abstract ATWIAD type album cover for the longest from Prince (and no TRC and N.E.W.S don't count cause I didn't like them lol). I'd actually really like to see something similar to the original artwork for ATWIAD; maybe a photo as opposed to a painting this time.

It should be a life sized cloud guitar that opens up to a box set of cd's!

Hey, great thread idea...this topic can´t get mentioned often enough. Prince should really put a bit more effort into his next album cover and come up with something classic, beautiful and timeless, like the Lovesexy, Parade , SOTT , Diamonds&Pearls or TRC cover. Dirty Mind was also simple yet brilliant. But most of his album covers since Emancipation looked horrible, except for TRC and 3121.
His old booklets also had a lot more class and style.
