Prince's Myspace Page (someone's checkin it) This isn't very interesting at all, but a couple of days ago I was really bored so I went to Prince's myspace page to see what silly comments people still wrote. There I noticed that the last login wasn't 28/10/2006 anymore, but 15/3/2007. So it's not completely abandoned. Do you guys think it will soon be updated and running again? Which could be because of big news...

If they were planning to remove the page why not do it with the "click" of the mouse to delete the profile?....why bother going through all the friends and deleting them one at a time? He gets it! That's why the ladies love him...  | |

I agree with Obsidian, if they'd wan't to delete the page they would surely not do it by first removing all friends from the list. So something is going on... | |

It said it was the official one run by Universal. They added news which wouldn't have been known or added by posers. It was a simple and formal page with no silly crap. | |

Trouble is, if they just go and delete the page, someone unofficial will immediately create a new Myspace/Prince page and they then lose control of the myspace/prince name. And they won't want that, naturally. | |

The page was at the time only about advertising 3121, no old stuff. It usually is the record company who runs the artist's myspace page. Or P did it himself, anyhow it was his official page. | |

I've noticed since Universal has been out of the picture that was when the page became void of color,pics,and music. Since then the number of friends has been decreasing slowly but steady, and I have noticed the "type" of friends has been cleaned up considerably.
I think Universal accepted everybody and their dog including some very sleezey mayspace friends. It almost looks like someone is going through all of the profiles and and doing some housekeeping. It just seems too weird that they would delete one at a time....randomly! On Prince's page they are also requiring approval of comments which is new, and thank goodness because some of those people who were commenting...well lets just say they were inappropriate. Don't really know for sure if it is or ever was legitimate but most of his current band members with a profile have this very same Prince profile in their top friends list! He gets it! That's why the ladies love him... | |

I just tried adding him as a friend and it won't work!  It says "PRINCE only accepts add requests from people he/she knows. You must enter either PRINCE's last name or email address to send your request." And "Nelson" doesn't seem to work. Wonder what that's all about. | |

friends who are being deleted are probably being deleted by myspace or some people cancel their myspace accounts

There is no reason to believe their profiles are not legit...plus many of them have a much different motive for being on myspace...they are promoting their very own music and not Prince's. Their tour dates listed on their profiles are well in advance of the shows they do which most of them are not related to P at all! He gets it! That's why the ladies love him... | |

They've given me their myspace info and several others that I've seen. | |

I notticed that the site existed back in january and thatit hadn't been checked since October. I also have a few Myspace friends like Tamar, Shelby, The Twinz, Mr.Hayes, Mike Phillips, Wendy & Lisa, and Alan Leeds. These have actually responded to messages with answers that seem authentic. I was actually shocked when Mayte replied to a message. The page that seems to be the most authentic is the one with no picture that has the last login date of 3/15. I sent a message to Prince but I'm not one of his friends due to the restrictions. | |

I did add The Twinz and sent them a message and got a response back - that was cool. Wanted to let them know I had tried to mimick their hair twirling dance (you know what I'm talking about right? When they spin their head around and it looks like a windmill?) one drunken night at the bar and woke up with the worst sore neck the next morning. Their moves are tough!! They wrote back that they get sore necks too! Funny. | |
