Prince's own words Wouldn't be nice if he wrote an autobiography?
Of course, it would have to be in English and not Princely Lit!

Nope.His Music does the talking for Him.He isn't that Interesting in terms of saying anything really IMHO.He is too Structured of a Cat to Shed any light on anything.the best Book Prince could have on Him would be by a Outside Source.to be honest there are very few Music Artists Books that Interesting&Very Few Ever Come Clean&Prince wouldn't ever dare go into His Musical Details.for instance He was on the Cover of Bass Magazine,Drum magazine,Keyboard Magazine,Guitar Magazine&aside from a couple of things he didn't really say much.He is a Better Read for Me through someone else's Perspective overall IMHO. mistermaxxx | |

I always said HE should have written an unauthorized biography on Prince when he became "symbol".
This way he could've denounced anything at a later time since it was "unauthorized". | |

You know I think Prince should write a book. It doesn't have to tell all if he doesn't want to but it would be cool to truly hear about his experiences in the music business and maybe to let us get more in touch or in tune with his Feelings. You know maybe the Iron Mask can be Dropped and Feelings could truly be Shown. Wouldn't it be totally human of Prince to let us someday see his Tears? Wouldn't That be a Treat? What would you give to Comfort him? I would give everything. I would give my all. | |

AND...what about when he was on Rosie O'Donnell promoting his EMANCIPATION album and Rosie called him Taffy??? He kept saying "Goodnite!!". It showed that he had a sense of humor after all for those who think that he's just a weird fruity guy!! Come on mistermaxx! Give the man a chance!

I don't think we could trust that he'd tell the truth. He likes to play games, and he may only write an autobiography to steer us away from believing something that was true.
On the otherhand, if he wrote a book about music composition, performing, or lyric writing, then I'd be interested. | |

One of my favorite reads (still ongoing) is the Beatles Anthology book. I would love something like this for Prince, although clearly the context and story is very different. Can you imagine all his previous band members contributing, and him contributing with interviews and quotes from the time as well as from a historical perspective.
