As for everyone saying that Santana would get top billing, it depends on how the performance is done - if it's Prince singing and playing with his band, and then towards the end Santana strolls on and performs a killer guitar solo (hence the "surprise guest"), that would be Prince featuring Santana. If the whole performance featured them both, then it would be Prince and Santana or Santana and Prince.

While My Guitar Gently Sleeps at the Hall of Fame, if it was billed as anything, would not be billed as Prince featuring Tom Petty, Jeff Lynne etc. Prince in that case was the "surprise guest".
