What can Prince do that would stop you from being a fan.

Musically, I can understand U following the progression. But if he was to do (not "allegedly") some weird, illegal, off-tha-hook, sick $#!&, if I were U, I'd think twice before pledging my undying loyalty to him... it says a lot about what U'll fall for. (IMO, of course! )

My journey became with only an admiration for a man that lived 4 the music. As far as I'm concerned, I'm bound 2 him 4ever...

I don't think of myself as a slave, Prince. I'm on this journey by choice, always have been.

There's so much his music has yet to teach me about life & myself. It's ludricious 2 to even think of a reason why I'd jump off this ride when I've only been here 4 a couple of months.

When he first changed his name (During the Act1/Act ii tours) The Daily Mail (a pretty well respected UK paper) reported on the whole issue.

They rolled out the old Victor/Victoria film and reported that Prince had decided to cut out teh need for a sexual partner by becoming part woman and part man.

It sounds ridiculous now but, at the time, I though "I want no more of this weirdo" and stopped listening.....he's never had my full support since then because once teh rose coloured glasses were removed I saw his music was,generally, going downhill slowly

As for even Prince's weakest stuff being better than anything else on the radio, I totally agree because there is nothing good on the radio and hasn't been for years. Even when Prince sells out to their sound, his songs sound better than their's. However, he shouldn't stoop to the level of a bunch of no-talent asses in hopes of getting radio airplay. If people have bad enough taste to listen to shit hop, then Prince isn't the artist for them anyway. Make some funk, and if shit hop fans don't like it, fuck 'em. They have the whole radio full of bullshit to choose from. We only have Prince for some funk.
