Is it just me or does it seem like prince is literall chanelling Jimi on guitar at the celebration and on songs like Habibi.

Music is as much (if not more) a part of Prince as it was a part of Jimi so I wouldn't be surprised if Prince could let almost any type of musical influence flow through him almost naturally without much thought or preparation.
