Does Prince ever aknowledge his bootlegs by singing them live 2 the people? If he did I would have loved 2 ben there. It seems sometimes he would thow off like when he did "Roadhouse Garden" or Possessed @ the Purple Rain shows. Extraordinary appeared on The Vault - then he sings it live 2 the people in the ONA set. IS he teasing? What's going on?

i think that the bootlegs, most of them anyway, are songs that he doesn't feel fit to release to the public... be it because he doesn't really like the song, or its just "not done" yet... so i doubt he would play them in concert. maybe a riff here or there but i think probably in prince's mind any popular bootleg song that he is aware of is OFF LIMITS! so to speak, which is sad cause those rehearsals rock out! "when doves scream" does anybody remember that one??? "maybe im just like my fuckin' father!!!" prince RAWKS!!!

I think he knows that we would love 2 hear him per4m all those songs...especially Crystal Ball (He can sing them now since Prince released them...)

Prince performed "Broken" on the 1999 tour (Somewhere on City Lights set) and he performed "Empty Room" at Xenophobia.
