WB was shortsighted and didn't consider P or output as "legacy" artists. For various reasons, I'm sure WB still prints albums that sell minimal amounts of cds by other artists.
You really can't compare a big corporate conglomerate to some back hole bootlegger. A bootlegger might consider himself having a successful product if it sells 800 copies in a year, the WB - probably not. There aren't enough fans to keep things in print. Hell, there aren't enough fans to keep some Prince albums in print. | |
