stuff like saying this on "Sign 'O' The Times":

Sign O the Times mess with your mind
Hurry before it's 2 late
Let's fall in love, get married, have a baby
We'll call him Nate... if it's a boy

Something which is a clear profecy of Nate Summers, the sun of Scott Summers (Cyclops of the X-Men) and Madelyne Pryor (Jean Grey's clone)

Nathan first appeared in 1986...the same year that that song was written!

How about on the "Beautiful Experience" video, circa 1994, where a fan is able to directly access online music and videos from her computer in the comfort of her own home?

Great post, I was just about to mention this....many fans don´t really get how futuristic and ahead of his time Prince was when he did this fantastic TV special, probably one of his best concert films, IMO. The performances are supertight, and the storyline is much better than that thin plot in the SOTT movie, plus the performances are REALLY live in this one. Many don´t like it and find it corny but the topics it deals with ( loneliness, depression, low self esteem , eating comfort foods like pizza and cocooning at home, sociophobia, communication via internet, virtual reality, downloading songs etc.etc. make this one very prohetic and far ahead of its time) . Back in 1994, people didn´t really get this little gem.
One of the best pieces of art he´s ever done, IMO. I still love to watch this.

Also quite prophetic were his words in the early 90´s ( 1994/95) about the great change in the music industry that he foresaw because of the internet.
His remarks about radio stations in 2001 and 2002 ( Hit N Run & ONA tour ) were also very much on point.
" I´d rather be a stank ass hoe because I´m not stupid. Oh my goodness! I got more drugs! I´m always funny dude...I´m hilarious! Are we gonna smoke?"

nod

I really love this concert. His rendition of "The Jam" is one of my fave guitar solos I have on film. Unfortunately my copy of this great video comes directly from a poorly recorded airing of it on cable TV, back IN 1994. sad Sad that this, and the Undertaker, and Sacrifice of Victor, and Ryde Dyvyne and Love4OneAnother will never be available in any long lasting quality format like DVD, which is to say nothing of 3 Chains O' Gold and Revolution Live!
