I hadn't heard them live in a while and damn it was nice to get a listen.
I recently heard a show from '93 at The Rex Club. That band was funky!!! Princey's solo on the Undertaker was nice. I think somtimes his solos sound the same lately that one was out of this world and funky, a cooler Eddie Hazel! (random thought I wanna hear Prince start playing maggot brain!!! that would blow my mind!) anyways I love the horn section from this band the whole band was one instead of parts like sometimes his present bands sounds. Like... ok, its time for the horns, ok drums, my purple rain era sounding guitar solo, bass, blah blah..I still dig his shows love the current band, but damn I wish I could have seen this band live!
