The Game Boyz were Prince's backup dancers during the Nude tour, and I believe they still had that name through Diamonds & Pearls and O+> (the Act I and Act II tours). They were Damon Dickson, Kirk Johnson, and Tony Mosley (Tony M.).

I don't have any insight into Fury, but Pussy Control is just about how women can empower themselves. I think (and this is just my interpretation) that Prince is saying that women shouldn't get caught up in sex the same way that men do--they ultimately hold more power than men. Men are sometimes ruled by their hormones, but women are stronger, and therefore can do better for themselves if they don't try to play a "man's game." So while it seems like a sexist lyric, it's actually very pro-female. That's how I take the meaning, anyway.

well...I'd venture a guess that the sun appears to be bigger and better but in acuallity it's just closer. So in that sense you'd actually be settling for the sun since it would be easier to obtain but...alas I think it's just a cute little way of saying why settle for anything less, go for the big one!

I was listening to Musicology (it sounds great btw-- its been 2 long), and I still feel a little lost in some of the lyrics.

Otherwise, Reflection is a beautiful, care-free song that definitely seems like something Prince is very much a believer of. It's so inspiring...

I had the album going on my iPod today and I must say... Love 2 the 9s makes no sense whatsoever. The worst bit is with with Tony M and Mayte rapping back and forth. What the hell is that song about? The whole album is just stupid.

Hey Shorty ... sorry I was never that crazy on the album at all. It is such a confused mess. Some good songs on there, but some really silly stuff too, the whole thing is just so incoherent and the Vanessa Bartholemew stuff is just awful. I have no love for that album at all. The Continental is silly too.

I like the way he says he wants to be loved 2 the 9s. If ur familiar with the expression "dressed to the 9's" then u should know what P means when he's describing what kind of love he wants. He doesn't want an ordinary love, its got to be exceptional or extraordinary and that is what best describes P. He's not the kind of artist that does anything mediocre or on a small scale. The concept for that song is hot.

imo means why would you go for something beyond your reach
when all you need is right here.

the sun indeed is a star but one you can actually see well
enough, one that is close and within reach.
