You guys might want to call these guys and remind them that Prince has more ensembles than Barbie.

If there were a Prince doll, what outfit would he ship with? and if he only had 5 optional outfits, what would they be?

Hee hee...I'm still working on my Prince doll project! It would be nice if these guys made a Prince doll, because I really like a lot of their dolls. In honor of my favorite Prince era, I would choose the black crop top with white buttons ensemble from the Parade era! But I'm sure that they would pick the ruffled shirt PR outfit, since it would be more recognizable to the general public. Oh well...

I think there'd be one base Prince doll with a bald velcro head and a dry erase face so you could draw on different beards and attach different hairstyles.

Then they should offer 3 different models: Classic/Symbol/Modern.

Classic would have him in the Purple Rain outfit and would come with a little toy Hohner (as would they all) and a White Cloud.

Symbol would have him in one of his crazy Gold Experience costumes and bonus chain hat/Tora Tora hats.

Modern would have him in the 3121 album cover/Vanguard outfit, and if you buy all three dolls you can send in the proofs of purchase for a free Larry Graham doll.

lol... and the deluxe version will have a collection of wigs thast show Prince's hairsyle changes through the years. And if u wanna shell out extra money, u can have guitars made for the dol too: the blue cloud, yellow cloud, symbol guitar, etc.

Maybe they should open a "Build-a-Bear" type workshop for Prince dolls and dolls of artists associated with him... that would be cute.

I think the Prince doll should come with a little tongue--you know he sticks out during concerts--and you press his tummy and the tongue comes out! LOL! Plus there should be real little tufts of hair on his chest, not stuff drawn on or anything!

And don't stop at the Vanity and Mayte dolls. There should be one for all his music buddies:

A Morris Day doll: comes in a tacky zoot suit and scream "A-HA' when you squeeze him.

A Jerome Benton Doll: Squeeze him and he says "Yes boss"
An Apollonia Doll: Comes with a special stand so doll doesn't tip over. (I think you get the joke in this one) Squeeze her and she says "Whoo-oo-oo!"

Shelia E Doll: Comes with drums and drumsticks and sings lines from Glamourous Life.

There should be dolls for all the Revolution and NPG members.

Looking at this, Prince could make a MINT if he manufacutred dolls.
