That was prince's version of 'Hallaluhiah' on Lovesexy.
How he came up with it...i have no idea.

This is why Prince so rocked in the 80s, creating words to fit his newfound salvation!

I don't claim to know or understand everything. But this non-word "Hundalasiliah" is one of those unique things that only Prince would put in a song, and that only under a rare circumstance would anyone "get it".

I will give you a hint, but I want to warn you that if you are not a believer in God, and you have never been exposed to such things, what you discover is going to sound very weird and hard to believe, but it is the truth. But if you really want to know, do a search on something called "speaking in tongues".

I thought you had to be baptized by the Holy Spirit to be able to speak in tongues (unless one uses a counterfeit). When if ever did this happen for Prince?

Don't know exactly what it means, but the "equivalent to Hallaluhiah" theory makes sense. I think it's cool...

I thought speaking in tongues was a skill reserved for those who've been possessed by the Devil... lol

I must B quite a shallow Prince fan cuz I don't know everything that he knows.

I've never heard heard the word "hundalasiliah" spoken in ANY tongue B4, so I was wondering if it DID have a meaning or if it WAS a Prince-ism.
