Lovesexy - Have you successfully broken up the tracks?

Hey guys,

wanted to know if any1 here has re-burnt the lovesexy CD with search-able track #'s etc., and what program you used to do so?

Love the album but would love to have a search-able version as well.

Just look for the German edition tracked version - it's not all that hard to find.

Yeah, it's really easy with free programs like Audacity. I'm not that technically savvy, and I was able to do it.

Here's how I made the continuous CD into individual tracks (for my iTunes/iPod). I didn't feel like shelling out more money, since my continuous Lovesexy is pristine.

• Load the continuous Lovesexy CD
• Find the Start/Stop time for the continuous track under "Get Info"
• Rename the continuous track as "Eye No" (keep the CD labeled "Lovesexy")
• Enter that song's Start/Stop time (listed below)
• Click "Import" - it will only rip the times you just entered, and the resulting file will be called "Eye No"
• Repeat the above steps for Alphabet Street, and rerip (you'll repeat for each song)
• If you rip them as WAV files, you are creating exact digital copies

Here are the times that I figured out which work well for me. I did shave a few half-seconds off here and there to make the songs sound good on their own when played randomly. You could tweak the timing to suit your taste. For example, my Alphabet St. is timed to start when he screams "NO!" . . . as opposed to including the last few seconds of the previous song's segue.

Eye No (0 - 5:45.05)
Alphabet St. (5:46.1 - 11:24.5)
Glam Slam (11:24.5 - 16:29)
Anna Stesia (16:32 - 21:28)
Dance On (21:30 - 25:14)
Lovesexy (25:14.5 - 31:04.35)
When 2R In Love (31:04.45 - 35:03.5)
I Wish U Heaven (35:03.5 - 37:47.5)
Positivity (37:47 - 47:03)

Lemme know how it works for you. It sounds complicated but it's very easy. I'm on a Mac, so I'm sure someone else has a program that can do it on a PC. This might help others who use only iTunes.

I don't have a computer, so I just flipped the disc over and put deep little scratches on the surface with a nail at 3/16" intervals.

Works OK, I guess.

Like someone else here said, that is too much trouble. I just put mine at the bottom of my pet doberman's bowl at dinner time. You ever seen one of those suckers eat? He had those tracks broken up in no time!

I bought mine when I was in Germany -brand new, tracked nicely, and for about $6.50 Canadian.

The UK version comes individually tracked as standard. I've never had the 1-tracked version and don't care to....what's the point?

My copy does as do many others, apparently the German/ UK editions play as a tracked album tho.
