New Prince DVD in HMV!?! Just popped into HMV in Norwich, UK and in the new release Music DVD section there is a new Prince videos collection simply called "The Videos".
It looks like a bootleg as the front cover is badly produced and some of the song titles are shortened or incorrect- has anyone else seen this or even purchased it- what is the quality like etc? I didn't want to buy it as it looks unofficial and so the quality may be horrible. If you go to the HMV website and look for Prince in music DVDs- it does appear, but without a sleeve photograph. I see now why the Mods keep deleting my posts concerning this- the DVD does look like a cheap bootleg and, from what I've just read on other sites, is poorly made. I purchased this DVD in HMV Mansfield, UK a week or so ago... yep it is kind of rough, and certainly transfered straight from video - there are even some sound bars visible on some of the promos (which is sure evidence). Where this is from... god only knows, but if you don't have a large collection of promo's already... for £7 it's well worth a gamble. There is a good selection of videos on there (29)... and the better quality ones seem to be the ones that have not had an official release on either the Purple Rain, Under The Cherry Moon, Graffiti Bridge, Diamonds and Pearls and of course the Batman DVD's.
