What happened to Paisley Park?

What happened to Paisley Park?

Is it for rent? 4 sale?

What do you know that some of us don't? Wasn't aware anything was up with it. Maybe you could enlighten?

Yeah it's like "oh you mocked me for liking him but now he's dead it's cool to play him again?" And then they look at you funny when you don't play him. -Timmy on after 6-25 fans

No doubt, I don't think it's for rent nor for sale. It's a landmark for P so why would he sell it.

It's funny, I was just thinking about posting a thread about Paisley Park.

Is business going that bad for him?

The second building needs some work. The outdoor walls have been looking bad for quite a while now.
The side door, entrance to trucks, has been broken for month, the gate keeps swinging and is 25% open.
The metal outdoor seats have stayed there all winter and are probably getting rusty by now.

What is he doing?

I thought he was waiting for his divorce to be final before investing in anything she might want. I don't know that but have seen it suggested by others here and thought it made sense.

I heard through the grapevine that nothing's going on there anymore. sad
Prince owns it outright, so all he has to do is keep up property taxes,
but it sounds like he's trying to decide what to do with it.

That's really all I know.

True.....but in the same token it has such a wonderful sound stage (one of the best in the country the way I understand it),
it would be a shame to see it razed (not that it'll happen). I'm just saying.

And yet I can't imagine anyone else but Prince owning it...it's such a Prince landmark.

i didn't realize how mammoth that place actually is.....if it is going to grass, it is a total shame and a MAJOR business failure should that be the case.

But it's not a business failure by any means...it's been hopping for years,
actually right up to the last couple of months...but that's because it's
Prince's choice at the moment.

Awww...actually I didn't make it to that many either, but any party
at Paisley Park was worth being there for, even if Prince didn't always
show up..... wink
