I think youre all wrong on this, to be honest.

IMO he isnt chewing gum at all, it more sounds like he is using a kind of distortion effect on his vocals. I mean: listen to the part 'don't kiss the beast, be superior at least', notice that it sounds like the basslevel is put up on the mixing board, notice how it makes you bass-speaker tremble, that effect can't be reached by 'just' chewing gum.
